Our purest herbal tea: ravintsara alone, nothing else. No blend, no companion plant, no flavouring. Just the ravintsara leaf, dried, cut and packed in teabags for convenience.

It is the herbal tea for those who want the raw character of ravintsara, with no other plant in the way. And the ideal base for your own blends: add lemon, honey or ginger, or mix it with another herbal tea to suit your mood.

How to prepare it

1. Heat water to about 80°C (boiling water damages the aromatic compounds)
2. Pour over 1 teabag in a cup
3. Cover and leave to infuse for 6 to 8 minutes
4. Remove the teabag and drink it plain, or add lemon, honey or ginger as you like

How often: 1 to 3 cups a day during the seasons when you feel more fragile, for 5 to 10 days at a time.

Ravintsara essential oil is powerful but calls for strict precautions (dosage, methods, contraindications). The herbal tea offers a valuable alternative:

Precautions for use

• Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy
• For children under 3, ask a doctor first
• Do not exceed 3 cups a day
• Do not use over long periods (10 days at a time maximum)
• Store in a dry place, away from light and moisture
