Ravintsara as a totum, the whole plant as it grows
Essential oil contains only part of the compounds in a ravintsara leaf. The totum is the whole plant. Not one molecule. All of them. In three complementary extraction forms, because each family of active compounds comes out through a different technique.
Our elixir brings together, in synergy:
- Ravintsara essential oil (aromatic molecules, 1,8-cineole, monoterpenes)
- Ravintsara hydrosol (water-soluble molecules, aromatic traces)
- Ravintsara leaf powder (low-volatility compounds, fibre, tannins)
Complemented by 3 forms of zinc (gluconate, sulphate, citrate) for optimal absorption.
The elixir at a glance

- Recommended dose: 1 to 3 capfuls a day, diluted in a large glass of water (200 ml) or a hot infusion

Ingredients: energised reverse-osmosis water, stabiliser (glycerol), ravintsara hydrosol (Cinnamomum camphora), ravintsara powder, zinc gluconate, zinc sulphate, zinc citrate, ravintsara essential oil.

Why a totum, not just essential oil?
Essential oil is potent but tricky to take orally: strict dosage, contraindications, and oral use is not advised for self-medication. For people who want the benefits of ravintsara taken internally, the totum solves the equation: the same active compounds, a calibrated dose, safe use, and a slightly bitter blend that dilutes easily.
The water used is energised with the “vibra” technology, inspired by alchemy, which is intended to reinforce the plant’s information across its different extraction forms.
How to use it
- Shake well before use (the essential oil can rise to the surface)
- Dilute 1 to 3 capfuls in a large glass of water (200 ml)
- BETSARA favourite: dilute in a hot ravintsara infusion for maximum complementarity
- Maximum duration: 14 consecutive days
- Once opened, keep refrigerated (+4 °C) and consume quickly

A genuine direct supply chain from Madagascar
The ravintsara in this elixir, in all three forms, comes entirely from our plantation in Sahambavy, on the Highlands of Fianarantsoa. Hand-harvested leaves, the same ones we use for our essential oil, named Best Organic Product 2019. Same analyses, same batch traceability.
BETSARA is a single-plant specialist: we work with ravintsara only, in all its forms. The totum elixir is the culmination of that focus — the whole plant, in one bottle.
