Mentioned in the article <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betsara.com\/en\/what-is-made-of-organic-ravintsara-essential-oil\/\">&#8220;Why is ravintsara effective?&#8221;<\/a> the majority molecule of ravintsara is 1,8-cineole which is an oxide and the oxides act in a complementary way with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betsara.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=16419&amp;action=edit\">monoterpenes<\/a>, the second family of molecules present in the <a href=\"http:\/\/betsara.com\/le-ravintsara\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">essential oil of organic ravintsara.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">But what are the properties of oxides in general? <\/h2>\n\n<p>Laurence Lebrun presents the properties of these molecules in her book &#8220;Aromatherapy and its natural allies&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n<p>To free the respiratory system, fight infections, stimulate the body and activate microcirculation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>Its therapeutic properties are: \u00abmucolytic dissolve mucus, expectorant, antiviral action, immunomodulants.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n<p>Fran\u00e7oise Couic Marinier in her book \u00abThe living earth guide of essential oils\u00bb, adds, \u00abOxides stimulate the exocrine glands and are expectorant, mucolytic, powerful antiviral, antiparasitic, antibacterial.\u00bb <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How are oxides identified in a chromatographic analysis (molecular analysis)?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>This family of molecules ends with -oxide, for the most part but not for the one that concerns us in the ravintsara: 1.8 cineole. <\/p>\n\n<p>In her book, Laurence LEBRUN mentions that the main oxides are: \u00ab1,8-cineole, bisaboloxy, linaloloxide, piperritonoxide.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n<p>These molecules are notably present in cardamom essential oils.
